2002
Sisteer enters into telecom outsourcing
SISTEER was founded in 2002 by two telecom experts, Alain Bureau and Xavier Grimaldi. Originally SISTEER provided outsourcing services for billing processes to alternative operators. Gradually, the company expanded its operational coverage to include provision of a platform covering all the business functions of a mobile operator.
2004
Sisteer becomes a MVNE
In 2004, Sisteer entered the MNE / MVNE market by offering its platform as a "turnkey" solution to new operators entering the market. The company was involved in the launch of a dozen operators, among which were the first French MVNOs.
Sisteer also acquired IDEA, a publisher of telco billing software.
2006
Sisteer acquires Cybertech
In 2006, Sisteer acquired Cybertech, a publisher of a software suite 100% focused on the mobile telephony markets.
2009
Sisteer is a catalyst for the MVNO explosion
In 2009, the company signed a partnership agreement with the mobile operator SFR after which Sisteer became the MVNA of reference on this network. Less than a year after its launch, Sisteer launched its 20th MVNO in France and initiated the development of this business abroad.
2010
Sisteer integrates ZTE's Smart billing suite
In 2010, Sisteer signed an agreement with ZTEsoft, a subsidiary of the largest listed Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer ZTE Corporation, for the complete Zsmart convergent billing Suite.
2011
Sisteer becomes the first MVNO/A/E in Brazil
In 2011, Sisteer signs an agreement with Tim Brazil to provide MVNO outsourcing services on the Brazilian market.
Later that year, Sisteer is granted a full MVNx licence by brazilian regulator Anatel, enabling the MVNE to operate as an MVNO in Brazil.
